Monday and Tuesday our temperatures were well below average. Yesterday was exactly at it. Today and tomorrow we’re back to our above normal temp pattern and it does look to stick with us for some time. We’re going to be mostly dry today. A few chances for light showers come into play overnight and early Friday morning but the main system that could bring us a few strong to severe thunderstorms comes into play later Friday. Threats right now look to be heavy rain and gusty winds mainly. However, tornadoes cannot be ruled out there will be plenty of instability and ingredients that are needed for these severe storms. We will likely see watches and warnings get issued for our area. Bigger threats pose just SW of our area where they are under an enhanced risk (3 out of 5) but they did upgrade the slight (2 out of 5) to about I70 and southward for us. The main time frame is Friday night/early Saturday morning. Winds will be strong today between 10-25mph with gusts stronger. Tomorrow winds are going to pick up even more. Temperatures Thursday will be in the lower 50s. Overnight Thursday, temperatures will stay fairly warm, in the lower 40s.
