An area of low pressure brought mostly rain during the overnight. Waking up this morning, rain will transition into a mix then all snow by midday into early afternoon.
On top of the precipitation during today, gusty winds are expected with this storm. Gusts up to 45+ mph at times.
Snow continues tonight and wraps up by Thursday afternoon/evening.
Higher snowfall totals for counties off to the NW between 5-7+” possible. Mid section of the valley, near Terre Haute will receive 2-4″. More rain with less snow, 1-2″, further SE you are in the region.
Drier and warmer by the weekend with highs in the 40s-50s.
