Today will be mostly cloudy and seasonable with temperatures reaching the upper 30’s this afternoon. Tonight, some breaks in the clouds, breezy with a southwest wind 15-20 mph and a low in the upper 20’s. We will see some sunshine early tomorrow ahead of an approaching winter storm. A Winter Storm Watch will go into effect starting Tuesday evening and last through the day on Wednesday. This system will have plenty of moisture to work with. It’s a matter of the path of the storm and how quickly it moves through to determine the amount of snow we see. The most difficult period will be early Wednesday for travel. Snow amounts for some could total 6″ if the transition to snow happens quicky in the early morning hours of Wednesday. Once the storm comes to an end the story will turn to the next system coming in late week and this weekend. And to follow, a much colder pattern to end the month.
