The leading edge of showers and storms are starting to move in early Tuesday morning

More Weather

It was very warm over the weekend but at least we are seeing a break from those summer temps now. We started the work week off with temps right around 80 degrees. Temps are going to continue their downward trend the next few days but we are going to stay active so that is not changing yet. We need the rain though so that’s good news. It’s still going to be muggy out the first half of Tuesday before the dew points come down a lot this evening into the next several days. We have a line of showers and storms entering parts of the Wabash Valley now. When these showers and storms were in parts of Iowa and Missouri, they were producing severe thunderstorm warnings, now they are continuing to weaken across our area. Not anticipating any severe weather this morning or today, but have a rain jacket/boots handy. We are going to see heavy rain, gusty winds and maybe a little bit of lightning at times. This is going to be the rainiest day we have seen in a while and today will be the wettest. Winds will be between 10-20mph today. It is going to be pretty breezy the next few days. Temperatures Tuesday will be in the lower 70s. Overnight Tuesday temperatures will be in the mid 50s.
