7 Day Forecast
Temperatures are cool to start us off today for the second day in a row now. But much warmer temps are in the forecast starting today and into the weekend, especially Friday where we could beat record heat. No rain today but that could change as early as overnight/early tomorrow morning. Dew points start to trend back up start today too, but tomorrow and the weekend it is going to get really hot and humid. We do still have the chances of seeing some severe weather tomorrow and overnight Friday. Most of the storms and showers that are left over from today will come early tomorrow morning but pass NE of here. Then we open up the window for some storms early/mid afternoon. A few could be strong to severe but the best chances for us look to come Friday evening. The SPC has upgraded some of our area to a level 3 out of 5 (enhanced risk) of seeing severe storms. This means numerous severe storms are possible and lots of the parameters needed are there but numbers still trend higher NE/E of our area. Stay tuned in for all updates and follow on social media for the latest. Highs near the 90s today. Lows in the lower 70s. We are forecast a high of 97 tomorrow, the record high temperature for tomorrows date was set back in 1994 of 97, so we will potentially be breaking that. Get ready for a hot weekend.
