7 Day Forecast
There will be a little bit of sunshine at least through the morning hours Thursday. Then we will pick up clouds coverage as the system and rain moves towards the valley later. Temperatures are in the 50s and 60s, it’s a comfy start Thursday morning but dew points and temperatures are going to rise today and in the coming days. It’s going to be very humid this weekend and into the next week. There are showers and storms NW/W of here this morning. Winds are going to pick up between 10-20mph today. It will be relatively windy over the next few days. Our NW & W areas are under marginal risk of seeing a few isolated strong to severe storms 7am Thursday – 7am Friday. Then into the weekend, 7am Friday – 7am Saturday the whole valley is under marginal risk. Then 7am Saturday – 7am Sunday NW parts remain under a low risk. Most severe weather will stay just west of our area where the storm energy is better, but we can’t completely rule out a few isolated strong to severe storms. Heavy rain, flooding, and winds are going to be our threats with flooding being the biggest concern with the heavy rain and several inches of it on the way. Remember turn around don’t drown. Do NOT go around road barriers, they are set up for your safety. We turn to a more active pattern once this evening hits with off and on rain chances through the next several days. Highs in the mid 80s Thursday. Lows in the lower 70s overnight Thursday.
