Showers and storms are moving in south areas Sunday evening

More Weather

Temperatures are still warm out there in some areas that have not seen the rain cooled air move in from the showers and storms developing. None of the storms are severe but will cause some short downpours and maybe some lightning in areas. It’s been a warm weekend, but much cooler temperatures are in the forecast for the work week. Temperatures are really going to cool down to well below average for this time of year Wednesday and Thursday. They jump up a little bit as we end the week and head into the weekend but it’s still going to be below average by a few degrees. It sure will feel more like fall then the summer weather we’ve been dealing with. Winds will be between 5-15mph this evening. Tomorrow and the next few days are going to be breezy. Much needed rain is in the forecast the next few days as well. Highs around 90 degrees today, overnight lows in the upper 60s. Tomorrow’s temperatures will be around 80 degrees.
