7 Day Forecast
Humidity levels are high and winds are light to calm in most areas. We have patchy fog and some areas that are experiencing dense fog Tuesday morning. Temperatures are in the 60s, pretty much the same as yesterday morning. Rain steers clear of the valley yet another day. Tuesday brings us more sunshine with hazy skies due to the wildfires. We have a northerly flow so that is bringing in the smoke from the Canadian wildfires. But there are also numerous wildfires out west. Also out west, people are reeling anywhere from moderate to exceptional droughts. This is common for August or September not June and July. Speaking of the heat, usually we have on average, 33 90 degree plus days a year. Last year, in 2020, we had 24. So far this summer we have only had five and four of those were in June! We are lacking heat but experiencing a lot of moisture with the wet, active pattern. We finally get a break from that this week as there are hardly any rain chances. Best look to come late in the week. Highs in the upper 80s Tuesday. Lows in the mid 60s overnight Tuesday. Temperatures are going to stay warm and we reach around 90 degrees a few days.
