The start of the week Monday was nice but now temps will start to come down. Tuesday and Wednesday we will still be above average but then cooler by Thursday. Temps will come up some Friday but then cool back down to slightly below average over the weekend.

Scattered showers will last the next few days (Tuesday-Thursday). Some models have some spots getting more than 2.00″ of rain. We’re already tracking heavy rain early Tuesday and these showers will linger into the coming days as the low pressure system nears our area, so have an umbrella handy. Big changes from what we had to start the work week off.

The same system that pounded areas in Texas and the south Monday evening and overnight is bringing more severe weather for other areas in the deep south again Tuesday. If you know anyone down there make sure they know to stay weather aware and have ways to get warnings. Tomorrow as the system rides along, we could see a few stronger storms but areas east have the better chance of seeing severe weather.

Winds Tuesday will be between 15-25mph. Winds overnight Tuesday will be between 10-20mph.

Temperatures Tuesday will be in the mid 50s. Overnight Tuesday temps will be in the mid 50s.
