7 Day Forecast
A Flash Flood Watch for NW counties is in effect through Saturday morning. Higher totals trend NW of the valley but we will still see decent rain this weekend and next week. Temperatures are in the 70s, it’s a muggy and warm start Friday. It’s going to be very humid this weekend and into the next week. There are showers and storms moving in now. Winds are going to pick up between 10-25mph today. It will be relatively windy over the next 48 hours. 7am Friday – 7am Saturday the whole valley is under marginal risk of seeing a few isolated strong to severe storms. 7am Saturday – 7am Sunday NW parts remain under a low risk and then N parts remain under a low risk through the rest of the weekend into Monday morning. Most severe weather will stay just west of our area where they are under a slight risk (a little higher than marginal), but we can’t completely rule out a few isolated strong to severe storms as the numbers needed for severe storms are there. We could see a few stronger storms continue then in areas that are under marginal risk through the weekend. Heavy rain, flooding, and winds are going to be our threats with flooding being the biggest concern with heavy rain and several inches of it on the way. Remember turn around don’t drown. Highs in the mid to lower 80s today. Lows in the mid 70s tonight.
