7 Day Forecast
We had widespread dense fog in areas yesterday. Patchy fog also has formed overnight and is affecting visibility this morning too, it’s just not as nearly as dense in most areas like yesterday. We have lots of moisture to work with in the atmosphere over our area so some mornings out of the next few will start foggy. Temperatures are warm Tuesday morning that’s how the next several mornings are going to start, warm and muggy. Last week it was fairly warm all mornings and as we ended the week on Friday hot air moved back in. We are back to the mid to lower 90s with heat index values even higher than that. There is a heat advisory that will be in effect from 1-7pm cdt for IL counties and 2-8pm edt for IN counties. There are also scattered and spotty rain chances in the forecast this week. Nothing that will last too long. The big thing this week is the heat. Winds will be between 5-10mph today. Mostly sunny Tuesday with highs in the mid to lower 90s. An overnight low Tuesday in the lower 70s.
