<< Temps in the upper 70’s, a light breeze out of the NW, slight chance for an isolated shower or two but most of the valley will remain dry this evening. Across the valley temperatures are in the upper 70’s. We hit an average high temperature of 85 today, the low temp of 61, was just slightly cooler than the average. And I don’t know about you, but I much prefer the high temp for to as opposed to the record high of 101 set back in 1936. Here at the station we receive just over 1 3/4 inch of rain, Bringing out monthly total to 3.54. The Wabash River is sitting at 3.9 feet and holding steady. We are tracking the remainder of the rain moving out this evening leading to a nice night, and a dry and mild week to come. Temp right now in Terre Haute is in the upper 70’s, humidity at 66%, and a slight breeze at 8 mph out of the NW. National radar is shower showers to the south, but bringing in the dry and clear weather to our area. A few isolated shower remain on the radar. As the isolated showers move east out of the area, we are left with clearing skies and a mild a dry week. Tonight a low of 61, partly cloudy, patchy fog. Tomorrow a high of 84, mostly sunny. A very nice week in store for us this week. Mostly sunny and highs in the mid-80’s every day this weeks, until the temps start to creep back up toward 90 later this week. >>
