Today will bring just a slight bit of relief as temperatures reach near 90 versus the mid 90’s and the heat index values will lessen, too. Winds today from the west before shifting southwest again by tomorrow and into the weekend. It will stay mainly dry today and tomorrow. There are some rain chances this weekend, only slight, but a few storms could fire mainly northern and eastern sections of the Wabash Valley. Temperatures will be in the 90’s and the heat index values back into the triple digits. Next week looks more active with day to day rain chances. The clouds will keep temps down and start next week cooler, in the 80’s.
