7 Day Forecast
A few places are in the 60s this morning, and most of us are in the 70s Thursday morning. Dew points are also in the 60s and 70s. It’s a humid start to the day and that’s how today is going to be. Humidity levels are high, and winds are light, we have some areas of patchy fog, some areas are dense this morning. We have a heat advisory in effect for IL counties at 10am and then it goes in effect for IN counties at 2pm. It will last until 8pm. Today is going to be another hot day outside, in the 90s, so make sure you do not spend long hours outdoors and stay hydrated. Heat index values are going to be between 100-110 which is why we have a heat advisory. After the front and storms pass today, tomorrow clears up and cools back down slightly to the 80s. We are under slight risk of seeing strong to severe storms today. Early afternoon hours are when our time frame opens. The biggest threat for us will be potentially damaging winds, some hail in some places, flooding/heavy rains. A few isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Make sure you have a way to receive weather alerts. Highs in the mid 90s Thursday with heat index values rising into the 100s. Lows in the mid to upper 60s overnight Thursday.
