Vigo County vaccine clinics impacted by winter storm

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Vaccine clinics in Vigo County are being impacted by winter weather.

All county government offices including the Sears COVID-19 vaccination site will be closed Tuesday due to weather and road conditions, health educator Roni Elder reported. Vigo County Health Department staff will be contacting those individuals with appointments to reschedule for Thursday or Friday.

The Union Health campus announced that it would be closing its COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Site, Vaccination Clinic and Hotline on Tuesday. It’s also closing all Union Medical Group Offices, Family Medicine in Brazil, Clara Fairbanks, CORK Medical Group in Marshall, Ill.,, Occupational Health, Occupational Therapy, Ortho in Clinton, Outpatient Therapy, Pulmonary Rehab at Union Hospital Terre Haute and Union Hospital Clinton, Rockville Family Medicine, Thomas Professional Plaza Imaging, Thomas Professional Plaza Pediatric Therapy, Thomas Professional Plaza South, Union Hospital’s Anticoagulant Clinic, the Union Medical Group Oncology Office, the Wabash Valley Surgery Center and its Wound Clinic. Convenient Care Downtown and Eastside will change its hours to 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Terre Haute’s Bone and Joint Center will be open from 8 a.m.–noon for a Fracture Clinic.
