INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Department of Health on Wednesday announced that 700 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing the state total to to 53,370.
Ten additional deaths were also reported Wednesday, including the death of another Greene County resident. Thirty three Greene County residents have died as a result of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and a total of 2,592 Hoosiers have died statewide.
According to the ISDH, intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remains steady. As of Wednesday, more than 35 percent of ICU beds and nearly 84 percent of ventilators were available.
To date, 586,589 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 578,409 on Tuesday.
