INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health on Thursday reported 1,171 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 121,176.
A total of 3,418 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 13 from the previous day. A new death was reported in Daviess County for a total of 30 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
Another 227 probable deaths have been reported statewide based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 1,387,731 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,379,850 on Wednesday. A total of 2,087,611 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
