BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Wonderlab museum offered a virtual science class Tuesday afternoon, hoping to help families have fun together.

Families remain at home for school and work due to COVID-19, and the museum wants to help in the learning process while following social distancing.

Wonderlab hosted a virtual program through Zoom and Facebook live teaching families fun experiments to do with household items and education about animals.

Director of Museum Experience Ella Heckman wants families to have fun while they learn.

“Fun science content that can be done at home,” Heckman said. “We have a different topic everyday at 3 o’clock and we have a list of supplies. So they can either do the activity right along with us during the program, or they can try it out afterwards and let us know how it went.”

If you want to join in the virtual learning, Wonderlab Museum will have more programs through the remainder of the week.
