CHICAGO — Gov. JB Pritzker and Illinois officials will provide an update at 2:30 p.m. CT Tuesday on the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the state.

Pritzker has seen increasing backlash from downstate Illinois as communities push to reopen ahead of the Restore Illinois timeline.

On Monday, Republicans in both the Illinois House and Senate called for the proposed graduated income tax structure to be removed from the November ballot.
