Vigo County Health Dept. warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at local VFW

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County Health Department warned the public of possible COVID-19 exposure at a local VFW.

Anyone who went to the VFW Post 972 located at 1111 Veterans Square in Terre Haute on Thursday Aug. 13 or Saturday Aug. 15 for BINGO may be at risk for contracting COVID-19.

Anyone who was at the VFW Post 972 during the infectious time should watch for symptoms. Those who experience symptoms should be tested.

Symptoms include;

· Fever or chills

· Cough

· Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

· Fatigue

· Muscle or body aches

· Headache

· New loss of taste or smell

· Sore throat

· Congestion or runny nose

· Nausea or vomiting

· Diarrhea
