Terre Haute man arrested in connection to officer involved shooting

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute man was charged with a felony in connection to an officer involved shooting last week.

Jeremy R. Ross, 37, of Terre Haute was taken into custody by Indiana State Police Tuesday after being released from Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Ross was hospitalized after Terre Haute police officers shot him during a physical altercation in which he pulled a gun.

Ross was charged with possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. He was transported to the Vigo County Jail where he is being held on $100,000 cash only bond.
