TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Salvation Army in Terre Haute is providing local families in need with some back-to-school supplies this week.
According to a release from the organization, those seeking registration and supplies will need to provide an ID, proof of Vigo County residency, and proof of income or benefits from the past 30 days for all adults. Two forms of ID will be needed for each child.
Registration/pick up times are as follows:
- Wednesday, August 5: 9 am – 11 am, 1 pm – 3 pm
- Thursday, August 6: 9 am – 11 am, 1 pm – 3 pm, and 4 pm – 6 pm
- Friday, August 7: 9 am – 11 am, 1 pm – 3 pm
People are asked to enter the Salvation Army parking lot off of 8th St. and enter the chapel to receive items. Items given away will depend on the amount of donations received.
