SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health on Wednesday announced 2,049 new cases of coronavirus disease in the state, including 98 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 35,108 cases, including 1,565 deaths, in 96 counties in Illinois. The age of cases ranges from younger than one to older than 100 years.
Edgar County was one of only five Illinois counties without a confirmed case as of Wednesday.

- Jasper – 33 current, 2 deaths, 1 recovery
- Lawrence – 2 current
- Richland – 2 current
