KNOX COUNTY, Ind. – Three COVID-19 patients have been released from quarantine in Knox County, according to Knox County Health Officer Dr. Alan Stewart.
Three additional patients are expected to be released later this week, after spending two weeks in quarantine past the last day they showed symptoms of the virus.
To date, Knox County has had 18 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Twelve of those patients have now been released from quarantine, leaving six active cases remaining in the county.
All Knox County patients must spend two weeks past the last day they showed symptoms of the virus in quarantine. This protocol exceeds the CDC recommended guideline by 11 days.
