TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State University will be requiring face masks when inside starting Wednesday. The decision is based on Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

Exceptions will be made while in private offices, in dorms or when exercising at the Student Recreation Center or Sports Performance Center. Masks will not be required when eating or drinking.

Intercollegiate Athletics, instructional, and co-curricular activities will also have fewer restrictions with the masks.

All students, faculty and staff will receive two masks from ISU. How students will get their masks is still unknown; however, faculty and staff will get theirs by Friday in their welcome back packets.
