Indiana COVID-19 cases pass 64,000

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana COVID-19 cases now top 64,000 as of Wednesday.

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 630 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 64,299.

Eight additional Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, for a total of 2,733 deaths in Indiana since the start of the pandemic.

More than 724,000 tests have been administered throughout the state.

Vigo County is still reporting 393 confirmed cases and 10 deaths on the Health Department website.
