INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Department of Health reported 31 new COVID-19 cases in Greene County Thursday for a total of 132 cases. Statewide, 650 new cases were reported Thursday.
Two additional cases each were reported in Daviess, Sullivan and Vigo counties.
To date, 22,503 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Local county totals as of Thursday were:
- Clay – 22 current, 1 death
- Daviess – 39 current, 15 deaths
- Greene – 123 current, 9 deaths
- Knox – 2 current, 18 recoveries
- Martin – 7 current
- Parke – 13 current
- Sullivan – 18 current
- Vermillion – 7 current
- Vigo – 69 current, 6 deaths
A total of 1,295 Hoosiers have been confirmed to have died of COVID-19, an increase of 31 over the previous day.
Another 119 probable deaths have been reported. Probable deaths are those for which a physician listed COVID-19 as a contributing cause based on X-rays, scans and other clinical symptoms but for which no positive test is on record.
While the number of cases has increased, according to the ISDH, intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remain steady. As of Wednesday, 42 percent of ICU beds and about 80 percent of ventilators were available at hospitals throughout the state.
As of Thursday, 124,782 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 120,496 on Wednesday.

Clinics run Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and an additional 30 testing sites will be announced by next week.
