WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – An early morning house fire in West Terre Haute is being investigated as an arson, according to Sugar Creek Fire PIO Josh Sittler.
The fire happened just after 5 a.m. Friday at a vacant house near 9th Street and National Avenue. The house was destroyed and the flames also spread to a house next door, causing serious damage to that home as well.
Sittler says the people who live in the second house were able to escape after being woken up by their dogs.
No one was hurt.
