TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Union Health announced its COVID-19 hotline has been reactivated.
The hotline was established in March to help inform the community of the latest developments regarding the pandemic. Nearly 5,000 calls were placed to the hotline between March and the end of May when it was shut down.
The latest Indiana State Department of Health numbers show 840 confirmed coroanvirus cases in Vigo County. To date, 13 county residents have died as a result of the virus. Due to the increased number of cases, the hotline was reactivated Monday.
Community members with questions regarding COVID-19 are encouraged to call the hotline at (812) 238-4871 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
