BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A fire at truck part business in Brazil was under control in less than five minutes, according to officials at the scene.

Several area fire departments and the Clay County Sheriff’s Department responded to the fire late Wednesday morning at Russ Fisher Truck Parts, just off the I-70 exit in Brazil.

“The initial complaint was a vehicle fire that was inside of a structure,” Posey Township Fire Chief Cody Barnard said.

Once firefighters arrived, they found the building was on fire as well.

No one was injured, according to Barnard. He noted the building and a few semi cabs will most likely be a total loss.

While the fire was under control within minutes, crews remained on scene around noon to extinguish hot spots and pockets of fire in the attic and roof of the building.
