JASONVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Update: A woman from the town of Linton has died as a result of injuries sustained in a 3 vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday near Jasonville on N. SR 59.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, the woman who died was 77-year-old Karen “Sue” McDonald of Linton. She was pronounced deceased at the Greene County General Hospital.

Another driver in the crash, a woman from Blackwood, New Jersey, was transported by helicopter to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.

The third driver of Oaktown Indiana was not taken to a medical facility.

The crash caused the closure of N. SR 59 near Jasonville for some time.

A three-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon severely injured two people.

According to the Greene Co. Sheriff’s Dept. the crash happened just after 5:30 on N SR 59 near CR 400 N.

Two of the three drivers were reportedly transported to the Greene County General Hospital for their injuries.
