2 Rosedale women face fraud charges after passing counterfeit bills

PARKE COUNTY, Ind. — Two Rosedale women are facing several counts of fraud after using counterfeit bills at multiple locations throughout Parke County.

The Parke County sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday arrested 36-year-old Chasity A. Combs and 23-year-old Alissa L. Hale after receiving reports from stores in the Rockville, Rosedale and Bellmore areas.

During a search of their residence, deputies discovered a large amount of counterfeit currency, printers, scanners and other items used to manufacture counterfeit money.

Combs and Hale are both being held at the Parke County Jail pending posting of $15,000 bond.
