2 arrested in Clinton for dealing meth

CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – 2 Vermillion County men have been arrested for dealing meth. It comes after police obtained a search warrant to investigate their home.

Vincent Vandevender, 53, and Jeffrey Davis, 57, both of Clinton, were found to be in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine, as well as weapons and a considerable stash of ammunition.

One of the weapons located at the residence was found to be stolen from Terre Haute.

Vandevender is being charged with:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Dealing in Methamphetamine
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon
  • Bond set at $25,000

Davis is being charged with:

  • Dealing of Methamphetamine (at least 10 grams)
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance
  • Receiving Stolen Property
  • Possession of Methamphetamine (over 10 grams)
  • Bond set at $100,000
