Vikings hungry for football in 2020

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The West Vikings stepped into the gym Monday night for their first day of official practice.

Head coach Jeff Cobb says,”It’s good for the kids. It’s good for the coaches. It’s a sense of normalcy that so many of us want. So many of us want to get back to normal or at least be close. We got that with the all-star game this summer and very successful in how we did that so now it continues over to football hopefully.”

Senior Zander Wilbur says,”Seeing all of these schools getting canceled and stuff it’s like are we getting canceled anytime soon or are we going to play? It’s definitely nice playing right now. I’m not going to get my hopes up and still going to work hard.”
