Terre Haute North’s softball team won the Glove Trophy after shutting out South 6-0 on Thursday night. Tristlyn Blackburn hit a solo home run in the 4th inning to make it 1-0 Patriots. Jordyn Rice added on to the lead with her first high school home run in the 5th inning to make it 3-0.
Hailey Miller added an RBI single to make it 4-0. Camryn Scott was strong on the mound, pitching a two hit shutout. With the win North improves to 9-4 on the season and take on Perry Meridian on Saturday. South drops to 9-5 and takes on Franklin Central on Friday.
