Football returned to the south side of Terre Haute Monday afternoon as the Braves stepped out onto the practice field for the first official day. South will look to make strides in 2018 after going 3-8 a year ago.
Head coach Tim Herrin says,”We need to cut down our turnovers. If you look back at a lot of the games we lost it was turnovers and five, six players. We have to stop the big play.”
South returns sixteen seniors and other key veterans including junior quarterback, Collins Turner.
“We have high expectations for ourselves this year. The last two years haven’t been what we wanted or expected but this year we’re just kind of ready,” Turner said.
