Sycamores set for Arch Madness

ST. LOUIS (WTWO/WAWV) – The Indiana State Sycamores have arrived in St. Louis and are preparing to open up Arch Madness against Missouri State Friday night.

Freshman Jake LaRavia was limited in practice Thursday, but is expected to play this weekend.

Head coach Greg Lansing says,”He’s better today. He’s logging a lot of time with Conner. Doing everything he can to be ready. It’s been bothering him for a couple of weeks. He’s a tough dude and will give us everything he’s got.”

Both teams win on the other’s floor which should make for an exciting game Friday.

Lansing says,”There’s a reason they were picked to win the league. Talent across the board. These guys, like us, are defending better. That’s one thing both teams have done.”

Jordan Barnes says,”They caught us at a good time, we caught them at a good time. With that being said, it’s just one game. I feel like it will be a better matchup with both of us playing as well as we can.”
