Sycamores prepare for EKU

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Indiana State Sycamores will hit the road again this weekend when they travel to Eastern Kentucky for a matchup with the Colonels.

Quarterback Anthony Thompson, who is getting more comfortable in this offense every week, understands the importance of this game ahead of conference play which begins next week.

Anthony Thompson says, “It’s extremely important to go to EKU and get out of there with a win. The game is important for ourselves just to find a way we can improve from the past two games. We are playing against our opponent, but we also want to see the best team that we can possibly be that way we have confidence of who we are going into conference play.”

Curt Mallory says, “You can’t put a price on experience. He is getting more experienced and it’s helping him. I see him feeling a little more comfortable each and every day.”

Sycamores and Colonels set for a 7pm kickoff Saturday night. Highlights this weekend on WTWO.
