Saturday April 27th is a big day for Indiana State football. The Sycamores will hold their annual Spring Game at Memorial Stadium at 1 pm. Head coach Curt Mallory says he would like to see a good back and forth between the offense and defense. “I’ve been in those scrimmages before maybe in the past where it goes one sided and the other side never gets back on track and I feel like that’s been the case all Spring it’s been back and forth and you know like a heavy weight championship bout just taking blows back and forth and one guy’s up one guy’s down and vice versa that’s really what I want to see I want to see great improvement through out the Spring it’s the final test and most importantly I want to come out healthy,” he said.
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets to the 7 home games for only $20.19. Prior to the game there will be a Buddy Walk to raise money for Down Syndrome Indiana. Registration for the walk is at 10 am and it’s scheduled to begin at 11. The season opener for the Sycamores is August 31st at Kansas.
