TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Indiana State Sycamores hit the court for the first official practice of the basketball season Tuesday.
Head coach Greg Lansing says,”I was pretty excited. I got up in the middle of the night and couldn’t get back to sleep just thinking about today. There’s something about that first day of practice it brings the player back out in you a little bit. You remember your playing days, but today was a very good start.”
Senior Christian Williams says,”I’m feeling really good. It kinda feels different being the older guy, but day one over with and we are feeling pretty good and not looking too bad.”
Sophomore Cooper Neese says,”You have to build day by day. Each day has to be better. Obviously you saw it last year. We had our good days, we had our bad days and that can’t be the case this year. Won’t be the case. It will be a fun year. We are ready to go.”
