Sullivan tennis wins school’s first regional title


CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Sullivan tennis squad captured the school’s first regional title on Wednesday afternoon with a 4-1 victory over Covington. The Lady Arrows got wins at 1 singles from Hanna Burkhart, 2 singles from Paige Chickadaunce and 3 singles from Annie Smith. Their other point came from the 2 doubles team of Courtney Lueking and Lexie Baker. The 1 doubles team of Sarah Francis and Peyton Sisil dropped their match to the undefeated 1 doubles team from Covington. They will take on Lawrenceburg on Saturday in the semi state round at Center Grove High School. That match is slated to begin at noon ET.
