Sullivan archery program sees increase in participation

SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Sullivan archery program has seen a major increase in participation numbers since last year. In 2019 head coach Mark Hiatt says they had 19 kids in the program. This year they have 109 among the high school, middle and elementary levels.

Of the 109, 72 of them had qualified for the state finals which were originally scheduled to take place on Saturday March 14th. Like most other sports, that event may or may not still take place, pending a decision from the Indiana high school athletic association.
