South Vermillion’s stellar season ends in Semi State


Jasper, Ind (WTWO/WAWV) – The season came to an end on Saturday evening for the South Vermillion Wildcats.  They were shutout by Southridge 7-0 in the class 2A state semifinal game.  Ethan Bell for Southridge got the complete game victory with only one hit allowed, a liner by Jaxon Mullins. He finished with seven strikeouts and no walks.  Southridge advances to the state title game against Alexandria-Monroe on June 18th at 8:30 pm at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
