South Vermillion shuts out North Central


FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The South Vermillion Wildcats used a balanced offense to shut out North Central 47-0 on Saturday afternoon. Anthony Garzolini threw a touchdown pass to Joey Shew and Anthonio Nieves had a pair of rushing scores for the Wildcats, who scored all their points in the 1st half. Dalton Payton also had a pair of scores and Gabe Clay returned a fumble 76 yards for another touchdown.

North Central was without quarterback Coby Brewer who missed the game due to a left leg injury. South Vermillion improves to 4-0, their best start since 2009. They host Sullivan next Friday while North Central is 0-2 and stays home for North Knox.
