CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)

The South Vermillion Wildcats will look to advance to the state finals Saturday when they square off with Southridge at Ruxer Field in Jasper around 3:30pm.

Senior Bryce McLeish says,”New territory for all of us so we are taking it day by day, but we are really excited. We want a chance to play at Victory Field.”

Senior Cooper Terry says,”It’s a real special moment. I feel like we can play with just about anyone. We’ve proven that especially last weekend. We can play with the best of them and this weekend we have a tough opponent, but I like our chances.”

Head coach Tim Terry says,”We have great fans in our area. We sure appreciate them. They’ve been hungry for a winner too and they are excited. We just tried to do the best we can to keep everybody in that mode. It’s been fun that’s for sure. It’s been a lot of fun.”
