TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State Senior Jordan Schaffer will take to Bob Warn Field this weekend one final time. Schaffer has started 42 of 43 games for the Sycamores this season and the West Vigo graduate is hoping to leave a big legacy.

“You just have to make the most of it. Do what you can to help this program. It’s done so much for me and I’m just doing what I can to give back and help these young guys in whatever way I can and help us set up for success the best we can,” says Schaffer.

“In Jordan’s case, he’s a guy that has the utmost respect from every one of his teammates by the way he’s worked to earn a job here and what he did on the field after he earned that job. His voice carries a lot of weight for our locker room and I can’t say enough of what it’s like to have a leader like that around your club everyday, “says ISU Head Coach Mitch Hannahs.

ISU will begin their final series of the season Thursday night against Dallas Baptist.
