Sports

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Rose-Hulman debuted their new synthetic football field on Thursday evening. It replaces the Bermuda grass field that the Engineers played on for many years. The Fightin’ Engineers are coming off a 5-5 season and return many starters on offense like senior running back Garrett Wight, and junior quarterback Andrew Dion and receiver Noah Thomas. Fans will get a look at the new field during the home opener on Saturday September 7th against #2 Mount Union. Kickoff for that game is 7 pm.
