Pacers draft Goga Bitadze in first round

BROOKLYN, NY. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Indiana Pacers selected Goga Bitadze with the 18th pick in the NBA draft on Thursday night. He is a 6 foot 11 center who most recently played in the Euro League. They also had the 50th pick but traded it to Utah who selected Jerrell Brantley. The 32nd pick was also dealt to Miami for three second round picks.

Ultimately the Pacers ended up with Bitadze and T.J. Warren from the Phoenix Suns. Warren is owed 3 years and 35.3 million on his contract. The 26 year old averaged 19.6 points last season.
