FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – In his 2nd year at the helm of North Central football, head coach Brad Hudson is going back to the team’s roots to find success. The Thunderbirds will switch back to a combination of the wishbone, flexbone and triple option on offense this year, after going 2-9 last season. Hudson and quarterback Jacoby Brewer expect big things for the Thunderbirds. “Football wise it’s been good we’re back to our offensive stuff with the bone and flex bone, wish bone running a lot more triple option defensively we’re coming together a lot of new faces that are just kind of getting into things and understanding how we do things here,” Hudson said.
Brewer added, “Really excited for this year because we have some new players teams I think have lost players we didn’t really lose anybod we’re just still gaining so I feel like this year we’ll have a lot better record,” he said. The Thunderbirds open the season on August 21st at West Vigo.
