Miners Ready for Semi-State

Sports

After capturing their 3rd regional title in 9 seasons, the Linton Miners will head to Seymour Saturday for a semi-state matchup with Shenandoah.

Sophomore Josh Pyne says,”We are family now. It’s great.”

Junior Kip Fougerousse says,”Just to play another week for our town and our team. It means a lot.”

Senior Evan Slover says,”We have never been to semi-state before so it would be awesome to win that and maybe go to state.”

Why are these Miners still dancing? Just ask their head coach.

Joey Hart says,”We decided to guard in the postseason. We played on talent a lof of times, but every now and then you have to remember how to win. Why we win. How this program was built. We built it defending and getting after people. These guys have really done that in the postseason.”
